Alimta Lung Cancer

In a head-to head trial comparing Alimta (pemetrexed, Eli Lilly and Company, Indianapolis, IN) with Taxotere (docetaxel, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Bridgewater, NJ), Alimta showed a similar survival benefit with significantly fewer side effects in subjects with recurrent non-small cell lung cancer.
