Manufacturers line up to fight breast cancer To help fight against breast cancer, several manufacturers are launching fund-raising campaigns and special edition products in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Goody Products, a manufacturer of brushes, combs and fashion hair accessories, has teamed up with the nonprofit organization Living Beyond Breast Cancer to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer survivors.
In September and October, limited-edition pink Goody Ouchless brushes will be available in food, drug and mass retailers nationwide and will retail from $5.99 to $9.99. Goody will donate 4% of the proceeds from each brush to LBBC.
Dana Classic Fragrances is kicking off the "Scents of Promise" promotion this fall featuring the iconic brands Love's Baby Soft and Chantilly. It will feature two pink ribbon, limited-edition gift sets and in-store mother/daughter displays. All Chantilly and Love's Baby Soft packages will include a collectable mother/ daughter charm bracelet and bilingual breast self-examination guide.
Dana Classic Fragrances will donate $125,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
