Kerr Drug Store
Kerr Drug to shutter store - in South Carolina - Brief Article DURHAM, N.C. -- Kerr Drug, which operates more than 100 pharmacies, will be forced to move out of South Carolina south Windermere shopping center at the end of the month.
"We lost our lease. We do not know if he [the developer] has found another tenant," Diane Eliezer, a spokeswoman for Kerr, told Drug Store News. The two parties were in the midst of negotiating a month-to-month lease and in a surprise move, the developer decided not to renew the lease.
Kerr Drug has been at that location since 1997, when it originally acquired the former Rite Aid unit.
The company will be transfering its prescription files to a Kerr Drug store located one mile away.
