Pitt County Memorial Hospital (PCMH), the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, offers five adult ICUs (including cardiothoracic surgery); a 100-bed children's hospital, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care units; comprehensive surgical services with 25 operating suites and orthopedic units; comprehensive women's health services; a 75-bed rehabilitation center serving adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients; and a 52-bed psychiatric unit. In addition, our services include comprehensive heart and cancer centers, a Level I trauma center, ambulatory surgery, and an award-winning wellness and prevention program.

Roanoke-Chowan Hospital (RCH) is located near the Tidewater, VA, area and offers a full range of services and a number of specialty clinics. RCH has 124 beds and serves a 4-county area with a population of about 72,000. Services include pediatrics, radiology, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, psychiatry, medicine, home care and hospice, physician practices, and thriving outpatient services.
Chowan Hospital, located in the charming town of Edenton, NC, is a 111-bed hospital that serves five counties in waterfront communities located along North Carolina's Chowan River and Albemarle Sound. Specialty services include pediatrics, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, home care, long-term care, urology, ENT, and ophthalmology.
Bertie Memorial Hospital, located in Windsor, NC, was replaced in 2001 by a 6-bed critical access hospital and expanded outpatient facilities. The hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services including urology, orthopedics, nephrology, cardiology, podiatry, ENT, neurology, pulmonology, gastroenterolory, ophthalmology, surgery, radiology, physical and occupational therapy, emergency services, telemedicine, and physician practices.
Heritage Hospital, located in the lively and growing community of Tarboro, NC, is a 127-bed facility serving three counties. The hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and ENT.
Outer Banks Hospital, located in lovely Nags Head, NC, has 19 acute care beds, including one neonatal and two labor/delivery/postpartum/recovery beds. Services offered include cardiology; dermatology; neurology; orthopedics; wound care; urology; ear, nose, and throat; endocrinology; senior services; ophthalmology; obstetrics and gynecology; minor vascular; and pulmonology.
