AAHA - Awards - American Animal Hospital Association, Louisiana State University - Brief Article The American Animal Hospital Association honored Louisiana State University for its commitment to excellence in small animal care as a 25-year member of the organization at AAHA's annual meeting last month.
LSU has been an AAHA hospital member since 1976. The LSU animal hospital at the School of Veterinary Medicine has undergone regular evaluations by AAHA practice consultants, who visit hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA standards in 12 areas of practice, from surgery to diagnostic imaging.
The American Animal Hospital Association is an international association of more than 22,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals.
