Nebraska Board Of Pharmacy
Members on the MoveGail Jensen, PT, PhD, FAPTA, associate dean for faculty development and assessment at the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, recently was appointed by Michael O Leavitt, secretary of Health and Human Services, to serve on the Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary, Community-Based Linkages of the Health Resources and Services Administration. The 3-year appointment ends September 2008.
Ellen Miller, PT, PhD, recently was appointed executive director of the University of Indianapolis' Center for Aging & Community. An associate professor in the university's Krannert School of Physical Therapy, Miller has played key roles in the center since its inception, serving first as chair of the task force that conducted the feasibility study, then as a member of the center's initial Steering Committee.
Laura Lee (Dolly) Swisher, PT, PhD, recently was promoted to associate professor and awarded tenure by the University of South Florida Board of Trustees. Swisher, a member of the school's founding faculty, also serves as a member of APTA's Ethics and Judicial Committee and as a site visitor for CAPTE.
