ABC to acquire MedSelect - Pharmacy Watch - Brief Article VALLEY FORGE, Pa. -- AmerisourceBergen has agreed to acquire MedSelect, a privately held provider of automated medication and supply dispensing cabinets, for $13.4 million in cash, including assumed debt. The deal will boost the health care giant's strength in automated dispensing and prescription tracking and gives it an integrated suite of computerized cabinets linked to a centralized database network that tracks cabinet inventory, usage by patient, usage by provider and other information.
